Maintenance

At Mac Aviation, we provide complete airframe and powerplant maintenance service on a wide variety of piston, turbo-prop, and light jet turbine aircraft.

Our two I.A. rated A&P technicians have over 26 years of aircraft maintenance experience and can handle all of your aircraft maintenance needs.  From oil changes to annual inspections to structural repair and sheet metal work, Mac Aviation can do it!

David, who is President of Mac Aviation has over 20 years experience in aircraft maintenance. Experience ranges from Military jets, to general aviation piston, turbo-prop, and corporate jet aircraft. See History page for complete details of David’s experience.

Dan is a very talented aircraft technician who holds a pilot’s license with commercial and instrument ratings. He received his A&P training at Moody Aviation and earned a B.S. degree in Missionary Aviation at Piedmont Baptist College. He has over 6 years experience on a wide variety of general aviation aircraft including: Beech Baron & Bonanza, Cessna 150 thru 210, Cessna 300 & 400 series, Citation II & Citation 560XL, Mooney, Piper Aerostar, Cub, Cherokee, and Navajo aircraft. 

Fuel

At Mac Aviation, we have full service 100LL and Jet A with or without de-icing additive. We try to keep our fuel prices competitive with most of the surrounding airports, so when you are in the area, stop on by and let one of our friendly employees top you off!

Flight School

Our flight school utilizes our 1971 Cessna-172L aircraft and two Certified Flight Instructors.

Randy Gard
Randy received his private license in 1978 at the Holmes County Airport. He presently holds multi-engine commercial, instrument, CFI and CFII ratings. He has approximately 1800 hours total time, with 1000 hours as an instructor.

Barb Tarutani
Barb is a graduate of the U.S. Air force Academy and has over 900 hours as an instructor pilot in the T-38 Talon. She presently holds multi engine commercial, instrument, CFI and CFII ratings.  She has over 1800 hours total time with over 1600 hours as an instructor.
